Week 8 - Meateor Special
Particles
This week we made most of the remaining particles for this sprint.including health , dash
blood(death), rage mode, shield particle, meateor, timeslow and speedup particle.

UI Development
This week we continued on developing of the ingame UI. The time-slow effect got an UI icon and a possible ingame hourglass that will turn while the powerup is in effect. (see picture below)
We also included the HP+1 icon this week. Also!!!!! We are super proud to announce the arrival of our most valuable power-up/Icon! THE MEATEOR. (See picture below for the icon!)
The MEATEOR!
We are proud to show you the meateor! It will wreak havoc and chaos onto the playfield. With tons of onions and a meatball! And ofcourse a lot of fire to invoke the perfectly cooked meat!

Falling blocks
When you think there is enough chaos with breakable barrels, tons of powerups and enemy players which require your attention… You’ll have to watch out for falling blocks. When another player walks on top of them, they start falling. You don’t wanna end underneath it! It will squish you! And interrupt the way of all the players below it!
These blocks will get a visual upgrade during the polish sprint. Mark our words!
Sound
Since this version we have working sound in our game. There are more incoming, but all what we could give sound has sound. There is also sound in the main menu and character creation.
Updated UI
Basically there is a new ui with all functionality in it.
PixelDrawing Item
There is a new item in our arsenal.
Now we can block other players while moving your own! This can be very frustrating for others.
There will spawn blocks where your player has been and will disappear after 0.5 sec.
Background upgrade
The background has a bit more filler stuff now, we added some grass in the forest and some plants to liven up the dirt underneath the level
Levelgen upgrade
The levelgeneration has been greatly expanded. Other than barrels, the falling blacks have been added to the generation logic. As well as pickups! Now you no longer only have two pickups for the whole game, but can collect a lot of them while running!
